So, the general rule of thumb is as such; what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. That is until you get married and the wife brings her camera everywhere you go :). In this case it was me, my buddy and our wives so there were actually TWO cameras doing the work, all to bring you a glimpse into the madness that is a 4 day drinking/partying binge.
Here is the start of a wonderfully long day filled with a massive amount of booze that spans two countries. This is the shot of the ladies getting hammered in the Calgary International Airport even before the flight has left.
And here, naturally, was the other angle. Me and Travis decided to hit up the rum and coke to start while the ladies took it easy with ceasars and some sort of slurpee-like concoction.
The next two pictures involve us posing in front of a fountain in front of (I believe) Bellagio. We were not even remotely prepared for the weather change as we stepped off of the plane. It was still (at 9:00pm or so) around 44 or 45 degrees celcius. I am not sure what that is in fahrenheit but I can assure you it is FREAKING HOT!
While the Bellagio was one of the nicest places I have ever seen, it was also one of the most expensive. We won about 40 bucks playing the slots and promptly lost it to the bar where they charged us 24 bucks for two drinks. Ouch!
The nice thing about Vegas is that you do not need to spend a cent to enjoy some cool shows. This particular water display (also in front of the Bellagio) was stunningly beautiful. It went on for quite a while and propelled water better and farther than a thousand super soakers. The Paris hotel in the background is one of the hotels that did not exist the last time I was in Vegas and was a site to behold.
While wandering the street, we overhead some random fellows going on about 1 dollar drinks. After spending 24 bucks for 2 drinks, we were sick of our wallets getting raped and decided to ask them what was up. Apparently there was a casino just down the way that was selling any drink for a buck. We got on board and checked it out! Sure enough, friendly people (such as this lady by the name of "Sweets"), cheap drinks and fun times were to be had. Although, I am sure the casino broke even with our drinking as we got killed at craps.
We drank about half of this.
Here we are at 5:30am the morning after we landed. We had not slept yet. We had not stopped drinking yet. We were done like dinner and seriously hungry. Thankfully, you can get a meal in Vegas at any time of day so we retired to this nice little restaurant in our hotel. The food was shit, but tasted like the greatest of feasts at that moment in time. Thankfully, though we were passing out as we ate, the waitress didn't throw us out :).
The next day we were hurting to say the least and Dianne was craving some asian food after sitting through the bland, spiceless buffets that exist all throughout Vegas. Luckily MGM had a nice little asian restaurant that we gorged ourselves at. I can't remember the name of the place, but man they can cook up a mean batch of Gai-Lan (Chinese Broccoli) and beef.
The first night we arrived I tried to get a good picture of the strip, but the darkness and my drunken, unsteady hand contributed to some crappy pictures. Thankfully, the day before we left, I managed to get a shot of the strip after all. What an amazing city!
And here we are in the Las Vegas airport right before take off. Our flight left at 11:00pm, so we decided to tide over the time with another drink and milk our trip for everything it was worth. We were tired, drunk and MUCH more sun tanned than when we left thanks to a bender in the pool that I will omit from the pictures only because I don't remember enough about the day to really make comments on it.
All in all, it was an amazing voyage. 4 days and 3 nights in the city that never sleeps. What a party! Those who want to see more are more than welcome to check out the entire photo album right here. Until next time!

looks like you had a great time
nicklee my man ! It looks like you had a great time . now tell us how much money did you lose at the tables lol
Strangely enough..
Lee BabinStrangely enough, not too much money was lost gambling. Drinking, on the other hand, consumed a fair bit of cash. Did you know that the Belagio charges 27 dollars (US) for two drink? Neither did we >_<, hehe.
