Stupid April Fools...

Well, one of my least favorite "holidays" has come and gone. But this time, it has gone with a bang. Probably my favorite site on the net has apparently shut down for good. TheGIA has purportedly shut it's doors. If this is a joke, then it is very cruel. If it isn't...well it is still cruel because they chose to shut down on Freakin April Fools Day when everyone will think it is just a joke. In any case, I am pissed, where am I going to go for my daily dosage of intellectual (mostly) game talk now? Oh well. In other news, I finally finished Jade Cocoon 2. You can find out what I thought of it by reading the review but needless to say, it was pretty good. I also am starting Eternal Eyes tonite so look for a review of that when I get the chance. Later.

Phantasy Star Collection Finally on it's Way...

Well, after we missed out on the original Saturn version of Phantasy Star Collection, fans of the series now have something to cheer about. It was reported this morning in the GIA that a new Phantasy Star Collection will be released early 2003 for the Game Boy Advance, comprised of the first 3 Phantasy Star games. All I can say to that is it's about freakin time. I am a little upset due to the lack of Phantasy Star 4 but if Sega is porting old classics, I am willing to bet that an announcment of a port of number 4 won't be far behind. Now if only I could find a way to play my Game Boy Advance on my T.V. so I a can actually see the screen...

Two New RPG Reviews...

Hi everyone, I have been doing some work to the site, just a lot of behind the scenes work. I converted the reviews section into PHP classes just to give it a try. It seems to have worked pretty well so it will now be much easier for me to post reviews resulting in...more reviews I guess, hehe. Anyway, check out the review of Okage and the review of Tsugunai for the Playstation 2. Oh, and while fooling around with reading/writing from text files, I did up a top reviews counter to keep track of which reviews are the most popular. Oh and look for the Jade Cocoon 2 review to be finished fairly soon. I am really enjoying the game and would probably be finished by now but work is really eating up a lot of my time, oh well, enjoy...
