Un-Productivity at its best...
Well, the thing about most web developers that I have known is that they are never satisfied completely with any project. Eventually, the urge to change takes over our nerdy minds and makes us change the look. And thusly was Babinplanet.ca Ver. 2.0 built. Let me know what you think. Personally I think it came out all right. Anyway, I finished up Arc the Lad 3 and really enjoyed it. Feel free to check out my review. I have picked up Mario Sunshine, despite the fact that it is not an RPG, and my initial response is that it kicks all sorts of ass. This game will sell Gamecubes by the thousands. It's about time my Gamecube got some action, it was starting to get dusty :). Anyway, it's my brother's bday on Thursday so those of you who know him, I am sure he would appreciate a bday email or two. Happy bday brotha. And to everyone else, have a good one, until next time.

Rest Well Sweet Mustang, You Shall be Missed...
Yep, be it for bad or for good, Dave's mustang has pretty much been sold. I will miss the red monster. I still remember the first day me and Dave went out to Red Deer to pick it up and then cruising around with Josie and the top down in Didsbury. I suppose all nice cars must eventually pass... Anyway, I finally finished Arc the Lad 2 and had mixed feelings about it. Check out the review for a full, well, review. I went to go see Austin Powers - Gold Member and have to recommend it. I got a great amount of laughs out of it, and really, that's all that counts. RPGTracker is still on hold. I still have not heard back from iPowerWeb. Even after using their tech support web form, I still have not heard back from them. Interestingly enough, I saw a pop-up for them saying something about how great their service is. I have a wierd feeling that I am somehow not getting their emails but, I gave them two different email addy's, I wonder what the problem is? Anywayz, thanks to being rediculously sick, I must return to Arc the Lad 3 and the uber-cool Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Have a great one everyone, until next time stay frosty and take care.

I'm meeeeellltiinnnggg....no really...
Welcome to balmy Calgary. Home of the "Please Make it Stop!", "I Haven't slept in days" 30+ degree weather every damn day! Now, I like a nice warm day just as much as the next guy, but even I need to sleep sometimes. It doesn't help at all that my room is the warmest in the house. Anyway, what else is new around Planet Babin? Well, I redesigned theMyPetID.ca home page and am very happy with the results. Then I started building this but got delayed due to a technical issue and still haven't heard back from iPowerWeb tech support (despite two emails in a week and a half). I swear, I have only been doing professional web design for half a year and already I have a dislike for 99% of the tech support people out there. People, if you are going to hire tech support, please hire people who at least know something about the subject they are giving support on. Anyway enough ranting. Something cool I found out is that as of yesterday, my brother was visiting the crocodile hunter out in balmy Aussie. I can't wait to hear whether he was there or not, but by crikey, it would have been an interesting experience anyway. I finally got my copy of Arc II back, yaaaaaaaay, not a scratch on it. Back to work on it I go, so Persona 2 may just have to wait a while longer. Oh, and speaking of Persona 2, it is freakishly hard. After coasting through Final Fantasy X and Arc the Lad, I got slaughtered by this game. Only the hardest of core RPGamers may apply. Anyway, until next time, stay cool and have a great summer.

Final Fantasy Tactics - War of the Lions

Just as good as I remember it. In fact, it's better!

In the PS2                      return
ICO

Truly a force of argument for gaming as an art form, ICO is nothing short of astounding...

In the Gamecube            return
Baten Kaitos

The beauty of this game cannot be put into words. That being said, the plot so far is somewhat lacking...

In the Gameboy Advance return
Dragon Quest Heroes - Rocket Slime

A very punny game starring the Dragon Quest series' lowest of the low beast - the Slime!

In the XBOX                    return
Eternal Sonata

Now this is what next generation RPGs should look like. Too bad the story sucks.
