Merry Christmas and a Happy Drunk Year!
Well, another year has come and gone. Hard to believe that a mere year ago I was fighting my way through school, hunting for that degree. Amazing how fast time flies. There have been a decided lack of updates on good old planet babin lately, what's up with that? Well, a combination of many things. My brother has returned safe and sound from the wild jungles and outbacks of Australia and it has been rather busy around here. People stopping by (very nice), house selling (very not nice), and parents visiting (also very nice) have contributed to eating up my spare time. I have also just discovered the beauty of fan subs. This means that I can watch all the anime I want. Everything from Chobits to Star Ocean EX to Excel Saga, I'm in Anime heaven. You might find it amazing, but I actually did manage to get some updates done to the site. The review for Wild Arms 3 is finally finished so you are welcome to go check that out. Long story short, I enjoyed it, but not as much as the first one. It was a very nice distraction but ultimately I found myself just wanting to get finished with it already. The fact that Metroid Prime is sitting in my Gamecube beckoning to me does not help matters. A word on Prime. It kicks ass. If you haven't played it yet, play it. If you are worried about the whole first person thing, you can stop worrying. It rocks, and better yet it feels like Metroid, you will enjoy it. Anyway, as I have to get packing here to boot out to Marsden, Saskatchewan for Christmas, I will leave you with a wish that you have a very Merry Christmas. Viva la Holidays!

Phantasy Star Crack.
Despite all the warnings I received and my personal memories of the original Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast, I was unprepared for what awaited me when I ripped the packaging off of PSO Episode 1 + 2. The addiction that followed and continues to follow is so strong that it sucks anyone nearby into its wake. I have friends competing for levels, diving for rare weapons, staying up late, missing tests. Its just crazy. That combined with the fact that I now own 2 Wavebirds, which by the way kick supreme ass, means that I now have no free time. There is only work time and PSO time. Very sad indeed. Speaking of the Wavebird, how cool is that? Wireless controllers? It's about freakin time. If I want to be able to play from my kitchen while facing the other way, then I should damn well be able to do it. Thank you Nintendo! Hopefully more consoles will follow this road (ahem, Sony). Anyway, amidst the chaos, I managed to finish my review of PSO Ep. 1 + 2 so go check that out. I also picked up Metroid Prime (I know, its been an expensive couple of months), and I have to say it blew me away. I am no fan of first person shooters, but then this is no first person shooter. My initial impression is that it has some of the finest graphics I have ever seen. Mind you I am playing on a 47-inch wide screen but that is beside the point. Now if only I could find some time to play....Anyway, my bro comes back this Monday, so if you know us and are reading this come drop by sometime next week and say hi. Perhaps you will find another victim trapped to the whims of PSO. Till then, take care and be drunk!

Revenge of the Laziness!
Hello and welcome back to the latest addition of 'I am a lazy bastard'. By some fluke of nature, I managed to fight back against the laziness and the guestbook is finally up and running. So go there and sign it!. I also finally got around to finishing up my review of Animal Crossing, so you should go check that out. Needless to say, I loved it and think most people would as well if they would only give it a chance. I will admit though that it does look embarrasingly kiddy. Oh well. In other news, I finally got around to seeing Spiderman which probably makes me the last person on the planet to see it, and I must admit that it blew away even my rediculously high expectations. Maybe I just like seeing fellow nerds beating down bullies and getting the ladies, ahem, yeah that must be it. Anyway, there you have it, hope everyone is doing well and hope to hear from you soon. Have a drunkerific day, peace.

Just as good as I remember it. In fact, it's better!

Truly a force of argument for gaming as an art form, ICO is nothing short of astounding...

The beauty of this game cannot be put into words. That being said, the plot so far is somewhat lacking...

Dragon Quest Heroes - Rocket Slime

A very punny game starring the Dragon Quest series' lowest of the low beast - the Slime!

Eternal Sonata

Now this is what next generation RPGs should look like. Too bad the story sucks.
