A Word From My Underground Layer...
Yup, it's official, I am all moved in to my new...temporary...place, and yes I now officially have my own underground layer with Mr. Biggleswor....Tiger. I know I always complain about moving but at least my temporary hideout turned out to be very nice. The best part about being downstairs is that even when the sun rises, I can still sleep. Mwahahaha, take that mother nature. Tans are for sissies. Anyway, after a grueling (yet fun) 20 hour gaming weekend (man I miss the days I could do that every weekend), I finally managed to finish off Suikoden III. I ended up liking it more and more as I went along and would highly recommend it. The only problem is that my finish time ran in somewhere around the 60 hour mark so be warned...Anyway, check out my review of it here. In other news that probably no one cares about, my condo is going up by leaps and bounds. If only the snow would quit coming down, they could finish up already. Alrighty then, until I talk to you all later help yourself to a smoke and a pancake, and take care, later. PS - Dot Hack comes out tomorrow, so expect to witness my dissapearance for the next little while, try to check it out if you can, it looks sweeeeeet.

Moving Sucks!
Yep, it has finally happened, the Babin house is no more. I gonna miss the ol girl, she was a good house and withstood many a party. In any case, it's packing week. Moving yourself isn't a problem, but when you have to move your entire family after 8 years in the same place, the packing and moving seriously compounds. It's not that I hate moving really. If I were moving into my new condo (not till June they say now, groan), I wouldn't mind, but moving someplace temporary while waiting to move later really does suck. Luckily I have been offered a very nice place to stay so I will survive. Anyway, between all this mad packing I haven't accomplished a whole lot, but did manage to finally finish my review of Panzer Dragoon Orta. What did I think of it? Absolutely awesome game, its great to just boot up and play for a little while. Oh, and the graphics are amazing, man I'm gonna miss our hdtv wide screen until I get one for the condo. Anyway, enough ranting, take care all and give me a ring at the new pad (I'm keeping the same phone number, thankfully).

Too Much Partying!!!
Yes, I can't believe I am saying it either, but it is true. December is a party month. From staff Christmas parties to...umm...other Christmas parties to New Years, this whole month has been practically a write off. Nothing like coding on a hangover. Mmmmmmm, hangover. Anyway, December is done so back to business. Back to the gym (to kill off beer calories), back to work (soberly), and out of the house. Yup, our house sold so I'm hittin the road (3 months prior to my condo being finished, d'oh!). Anyway, nothing like celebrating a new year with a few reviews and a bunch of perverted japanese animation. I therefore finally finished my review of Metroid Prime so have a look. It was quite simply the most beautiful game I have ever layed eyes on. Playing on our wide screen tv left me feeling dizzy afterwards. It really sucks you in. My recent influx of anime revolves around me finally getting a hold of a divx player. I know that downloading movies is bad, mmmmkay, but I will stop the distribution if they ever decide to translate them into a language I can understand. Anyway, I have been watching Chobits almost exclusively and love it. I have also thrown in a bit of Star Ocean EX and Those Who Hunt Elves which are both very respectable series. Actually Those Who Hunt Elves is so wierd that you can't help but laugh. And in case you are wondering what's up with this picture here, well, let's just say I haven't kicked the Phantasy Star Online habit yet. In fact it has gotten worse now that I can actually take it online, argh, will it never end? Well, I'm off on the house hunt, take care all and drink lots of water to recover from that December hangover. Later.

Just as good as I remember it. In fact, it's better!

Truly a force of argument for gaming as an art form, ICO is nothing short of astounding...

The beauty of this game cannot be put into words. That being said, the plot so far is somewhat lacking...

A very punny game starring the Dragon Quest series' lowest of the low beast - the Slime!

Eternal Sonata

Now this is what next generation RPGs should look like. Too bad the story sucks.
