Two Jobs Make a Right!
Hello all, I suppose you have been wondering where all the updates are (and rightfully so!). The answer to that is that I finally found myself another job to help fill the money void. I now find myself doing contractual work for Ginkgodata as well as work for my usual employer and loving every second of it. Sure, there is a decided lack of sleep going on, and yeah some days I get a little stressed out, but hell, might as well do some money saving before I become poor with a mortgage. In any case, busy busy busy, fun fun fun.

Vacation Time, Whoo Hooo!
Even though I love my job and am generally not too stressed out or anything, I still love taking a small vacation. In that respect I am off for the week from work. While it is something of a vacation in spirit, the sad truth is I have to spend a vast majority of it trying to find a career. This is one of those cases where I am sure I would be a great resource to any company who will give me a chance, it is just that finding such a chance (without relocating) can be a tricky affair. That combined with the fact that it takes gobs of time to job hunt resulted in this week being my "job hunting" week. Anyway, enough of my sad stories, on to the more site relevant stuff. First off, the review of Xenosaga has finally been completed and what a doozy it is. I ended up truly loving Xenosaga, though I feel my expectations were slightly too high, there was no way on earth Xenosaga could have stood up to them. The result is still a mighty fine game however, so if you are in the mood for a great sci-fi adventure, then by all means read the review and find out if you are up for some Xeno.

Oh Boy, Job Hunting!!
Yes, that title is very, very sarcastic. The sad truth is I am on the ol hunt for a decent career again. I truly enjoy what I am doing right now, but due to technical issues I find myself moving on. Oh well, it has been fun and much experience has been garnered. So anyway, if any of you reading this site (what, all 2 of you?) know of any companies searching high and low for a professional web/application developer, please let me know. My portfolio can be found here and you can email me here. Ahem, on to the fun stuff. I finished my review of Breath of Fire V and found it to be one of the most unique games I have played in ages. Seriously, if you are feeling hardcore and need a change, this is the game to play.

Just as good as I remember it. In fact, it's better!

ICO

Truly a force of argument for gaming as an art form, ICO is nothing short of astounding...

Baten Kaitos

The beauty of this game cannot be put into words. That being said, the plot so far is somewhat lacking...

Dragon Quest Heroes - Rocket Slime

A very punny game starring the Dragon Quest series' lowest of the low beast - the Slime!

In the XBOX                    return
Eternal Sonata

Now this is what next generation RPGs should look like. Too bad the story sucks.
