Now...to just come up with a plan that allows me to somehow afford them all while still getting married. Hmmmmmm....

Sex sells??? What a concept!

Does anyone else find this and this somewhat...too much? I am all for naked, hot women, don't get me wrong. However, when gaming companies begin to use Playboy and nudity as a selling point (The Guy Game?? *ahem*), I start to wonder if perhaps they aren't going a little too far...

I was one of those that, while everyone complained about the out of control fan service in FFX-2, I kind of just said whatever, it makes the game easy on the eyes. Fan service does not bother me, because while it is rather blatant, it does not really cross the line, at least for me. The whole Playboy thing however, I think crosses the line. What's next, game character special appearances in Hentai? It boggles the mind...

New Pics!

Well, I finally managed to get my hands on a digital camera (thanks Dave) and decided to go a little photo happy on my gaming setups. I know this makes me rather nerdish (as my fiancee continues to remind me), but hey, why hide it?

First off is the picture of my standard gaming rig. I game on a 57" Toshiba widescreen HDTV. I got hooked on widescreen HDTVs for gaming back when I was living with a roommate who had a 47" Panasonic. Luckily I was living at a buddies house for a half year before my condo was finished being built and managed to save enough money for this bad boy. The GBA was a Christmas gift from my lovely fiancee.

Next up is a (not complete) shot of my game collection and the associated guides (I collect them, I don't use them....much). Not pictured are my older games and PS1 games which are taking up quite a bit of shelf space above these ones...

Lastly are a few random pics of things I enjoy from around the house. Most prominent are my Katana Swords which were a recent birthday present from my brother (thanks mate!). I think they look very cool hanging just above the couch, precariously supported by an ikea shelf. And the last image I snapped off is a crazy picture of Pocky, which every gamer should know is one of the finest snack foods to make it out of Asia. I enjoy it every chance I get...
